While there are numerous people across the country that do not agree with the introduction of the Irish water charges, they are unfortunately in full swing! 

With that being said there are several homeowners who have not yet registered their details with Irish Water. Whether it is out of protest or because figuring out how exactly to register is just too painful. Water Meter installation

By the time the first water bills were released in Ireland only one-third of houses had a water meter in place. Irish Water is currently installing meters at a rate of 27,000 houses per month. All houses with a water meter in place will only pay for the water they use. They will also have their bills capped at the amount houses without a meter have to pay.
